Innolux lands orders for iPhone panels

Innolux Display has landed orders for Apple's iPhone handset panels and the company will ship a great volume of panels for use in smart phone panels, according to company president Hsing C Tuan, as quoted by the Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN).

The company aims for a 50% shipment growth for its small- to medium-size panel business this year, with profits for the segment to soar more than 50%, Tuan was quoted as saying, adding that the company has entered the supply chain of several first-tier handset brands such as Nokia, Motorola and Chi Mei Communication Systems.
