UMC to unveil R&D center

United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) will unveil its newly completed R&D center in the Southern Taiwan Science Park tomorrow, according to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN).
The new center, the science park's first R&D lab devoted to the development of nanosemiconductors, can house over 800 engineers, the paper added.
