GOEPEL electronic - Booth K44
GOEPEL electronics Ltd. will present new innovations for its Extended JTAG/Boundary Scan solutions based on its unrivalled hardware architecture SCANFLEX®.
In particular, the revolutionary innovation VarioCore™, a technology for the flexible configuration of I/O modules, will change the Boundary Scan world decisively. VarioCore™ allows the dynamic reconfiguration of SCANFLEX I/O modules with special Intellectual Property (IP) in order to support a wide range of test capabilities in the same hardware set-up.
GOEPEL electronics will show a live demonstration involving different IP's for static and dynamic testing, loaded into the I/O module at run-time time to support particular test steps.
GOEPEL electronics is positioning itself as the leading supplier of intelligent solutions for Extended JTAG/Boundary Scan. In addition to latest Boundary Scan hardware and software equipment, the company will present solutions for IEEE standards such as IEEE 1149.1, 1149.4, 1149.6, and 1532.
Eurocircuits - Booth J50
Eurocircuits will launch major upgrades to its online prototype and small batch PCB services. Already well-known for its fast, low-cost order pooling services, Eurocircuits have now integrated high-specification non-pooled boards onto their website.
This new "On Demand" service means that customers can get prices and place orders online for boards up to 16 layers using the same streamlined menu structure recently rolled out for the pooling services. Eurocircuits now offer a three-tier online service for prototype and small-series PCBs: the Verified pooling service for standard technology boards up to 6 layers; the A la Carte pooling service with a wide choice of materials and surface finishes on boards up to 8 layers; and the non-pooling On Demand service offering up to 16 layers with full UL release. Deliveries for all services start from 3 days.
New for the 2007 pooling services, lead-free hot-air levelling (HAL) is available as a RoHS-compliant surface-finish alongside immersion silver and electroless nickel-gold (ENIG). For many prototype users the surface finish does not matter; what they need is a fast delivery and a low price. For these designers Eurocircuits have added an extra surface-finish option "Any leadfree". Eurocircuits themselves pick the surface-finish which gives the best utilisation of the pooling panels on the day - and so the lowest price.
CyberOptics - Booth C20
CyberOptics Corporation will highlight its Flex Ultra High-Resolution automated optical inspection system (AOI) in representative Anglo Product Processes (APP) Ltd.'s booth.
Flex Ultra HR is the high-resolution, high-speed next generation of the Flex Ultra platform and provides enhanced features including new 5.0 megapixel camera technology. The system also offers users a 40 percent improvement in imaging resolution over the Flex Ultra.
Base features of the system include high-speed pre- and post-reflow inspection capabilities, simple, programming, patented SAM™ vision technology that learns as the process varies, lowest false-call rates in the industry, and the ability to inspect any component or feature such as chips, ICs, lead-free solder joints, gold fingers, connectors, clips and screws.
CyberOptics also will unveil its easy-to-use operator user interface (OUI) for the Flex Ultra HR. The new OUI for inspection and defect review provides operators a simpler, more intuitive graphical user interface and a common look and feel with the user interface on the CyberOptics SE 300 solder paste inspection machine. It is offered in multiple languages, including English, Chinese and Korean, and is capable of being translated into any language.
CyberOptics will also display SE 300 Ultra, its industry-leading 100 percent 3-D solder paste inspection system, in representative Anglo Product Processes (APP) Ltd.'s booth.
This new generation in-line, 100 percent inspection system takes the SE 300 to the next level. SE 300 Ultra provides accurate, repeatable results at speeds that keep up with increasing line cycle times. The SE 300 Ultra incorporates the field-proven technology and reliable features of the SE 300 along with new features.
Offering ultra-fast inspection speeds, the system features a conveyor that accommodates panel sizes from 101 x 35 mm (4 x 1.4") to 508 x 508 mm (20 x 20"), flexible conveyor rail options - rear or front-fixed rail, program call-up using a bar code reader, and the ability to read skip marks and exclude data from inspection results.
Additionally, the SE 300 Ultra provides the ability to handle odd-shaped pads, superior paste height accuracy (each measurement calculated using 200k reference points) and an XML file format output for easy integration to shop floor control systems. The Ultra also features paste height, area and volume measurements with Gage R&R <10 percent.
New features have been added to the inspection system, including technology-leading 01005 pad inspection capabilities, enhanced warp compensation for flexible circuits, easy-to-use Operator Interface and Defect Review, and conveyor auto-width adjustment capability.
Essemtec - Booth A44
Essemtec AG will showcase EXPERT-SAFP universal prototyping station, in its distributor Special Applications Products Ltd.'s booth.
Small batches and prototypes of assembled SMD boards can be mounted quickly and accurately using the Essemtec's EXPERT-SAFP semi-automatic pick-and-place system. The pick-and-place head is air suspended, and moves gently and ergonomically, allowing fast and accurate work.
When the component structure moves to fine-pitch or if a manual alignment is not possible (BGA, microBGA, flip chip), the integrated vision and placement system MPL3100 can help. Its double prisma optical system can display the component and the substrate overlay on one screen. Alignment and placement is then easy and the large zoom range of the optic enables a highly accurate result.
The EXPERT-SAFP placement system is perfectly suited for prototyping because it allows components to be picked from both reels and sticks, and from rest tape strips as well as loose components. A turning station for upside down components standard on the system.
Essemtec will also display the FLX2010-LCV flexible pick-and-place system for high-mix production in its distributor Contax Ltd.'s booth E40.
The FLX pick-and-place system is innovative and high quality because it has been completely designed for where the market is going - high-mix/low-volume production.
The FLX series offers changeover without downtime. Intelligent feeders, large feeder capacity, and offline programming and job planning are some of the tools available to achieve the task at hand. The FLX series start at 5,000 CPH , with 150 feeders inline and can be expanded to 15,000 CPH with over 470 feeders.
FLX offers users significant cost benefits in that it provides many features for the customer that save time and money. Our MIS software offers production planning, inventory control, quality control through bar code verification and traceability of lots. Additionally, the offline setup truly gives the ability to produce without downtime. As an additional benefit, the FLX series is environmentally conscious, requiring only 110 V of power and saving the consumption of electricity.
Electrolube - Booth F10
Electro-chemicals manufacturer Electrolube will exhibit a wide range of high performance chemicals including contact lubricants, cleaning solutions, conformal coatings, thermal management materials, resins and service and maintenance aids.
In addition Electrolube will also launch a new coating, Resin Stop, developed using fluoropolymer technology. Visitors to the stand will also have the opportunity to view a demonstration of the highly effective water-based conformal coating, Aquacoat Plus, which has recently been tested by two of the world's leading selective coating equipment providers, with outstanding results.
Aquacoat Plus is available in two formulations, WBP is the standard product for dipping and brushing and WBPs is sprayable for selective coating equipment.
Electrolube's aqueous conformal coating is non-flammable and contains low levels of VOCs, eliminating the need for extraction and other precautions normally required for the application of conventional solvent-based conformal coatings. It can be soldered through without fear of highly toxic gases being produced and is non-corrosive to Cadmium and Zinc plate. Aquacoat Plus is DEF-STAN, MIL and IPC-CC-830 and RoHS compliant.
The new fluoropolymer coating, Resin Stop, is ideally suited for coating machinery, jigs, moulds and many other substrates likely to come into contact with resin such as aluminum, stainless steel, glass and numerous plastics.
