Vansco Electronics LP announces new LVME business unit
Apr 11, 2007
Electronics supplier, Vansco Electronics, has announced the creation of a new business unit. The Low Volume Mobile Electronics (LVME) business unit will include low volume electronics, wire harness, and prototype manufacturing. It will also align with Vansco's newly introduced re-manufacturing service. Products from this business unit will be manufactured in two of Vansco's North American facilities: Winnipeg, Canada and Valley City, USA. This change reflects Vansco's commitment to offering a complete range of products and capabilities to heavy equipment OEMs. "A specialized low volume mobile electronics unit will allow Vansco to provide better service to our customers," says Niels Erik Hansen, Chief Executive Office, Vansco Electronics. The LVME unit will operate alongside Vansco's Mobile Electronics (ME) unit, which specializes in the design and manufacture of medium to high volume ruggedized electronic components and systems. Vansco uses its expertise in standard communication protocols to integrate custom or proprietary products and systems and provide customers with a total solution for mobile electronic applications.
