United Printed Circuit Board extends beyond Motorola
Apr 24, 2007
Given the conservative outlook over printed circuit board (PCB) shipments to key customer Motorola, United Printed Circuit Board is said to have expanded its customer base by landing more entry-level handset ODM orders and getting a new GPS mobile phone customer, according to industry sources. United Printed Circuit Board saw its March sales flat on month due to the decrease of PCB orders from Motorola. The PCB maker in the past shipped mostly PCBs for Motorola's mainstream and high-end handsets. The sources estimated that sales contribution from two- and three-layer high-density interconnect (HDI) boards accounted for 80% of the company's sales in 2006. source: DigiTimes
