Acer expects to complete acquisition plan in 3-5 months, says chairman

Acer is expected to complete talks for the acquisition of a small-capital company within 3-5 months, company chairman JT Wang said at an April 27 investors conference. Wang declined to elaborate but claimed that the acquisition target is not a US-based company, dashing persistent market rumors that Acer is likely to acquire Gateway.
