Sharp Corp. plans to stretch its monthly capacity at its eighth-generation LCD plant to 60,000 units by July and 90,000 units by the mid-2008, Chinese-language Commercial Times quotes today Tsuneo Nakamura, an executive at AVC LCD Business division, as saying.
