Samsung to Invest 320 million euros (400 billion won) LCD Module plant in Slovakia

Samsung Electronics announced today that it has signed an agreement with the Slovak government to invest in an LCD module plant. The contract period is 2011, and the expected investment is 320 million euros (400 billion won) over the next five years. Samsung Electronics plans to invest 147.4 billion won ($155 million) initially in the plant in Slovakia to begin construction in the first half.
