LaBarge receives $4.4 Million in new orders from Modular Mining

LaBarge, Inc. (AMEX: LB) has received additional orders totaling $4.4 million from Modular Mining Systems, Inc. to continue to produce electronic assemblies used in mine information management systems. The Company expects to receive follow-on orders.

Since 2001, LaBarge has been the exclusive, turnkey manufacturer of electronic hardware for Modular Mining's state-of-the-art mine management systems, which are used in open pit and underground mining operations worldwide. Production on the new orders began this winter at LaBarge's Pittsburgh, Pa., facility and is expected to continue through June 2007.
