Changhong to put Czech plant into operation targeting European TV Market

Sichuan Changhong, a China-based home appliance vendor, is to put the Czech plant, its second overseas production base, into official operation on March 28.

Sichuan Changhong, with $10 million first-phase investment, has built 10,000-square meter workshops and counterpart facilities as well as five flat-panel and CRT color TV general assembly lines there. The local plant started trial production in December last year, and it is capable of producing 1 million color TVs. The company has already purchased the land of 120,000 square meters in capital of Czech.
