Cognex President and COO resigns

Cognex Corp., a manufacturer of vision sensors for factories, said Tuesday its President and Chief Operating Officer James Hoffmaster has resigned to pursue other interests.

Chairman and Chief Executive Robert Shillman will assume Hoffmaster's responsibilities until a successor is found, the Natick, Mass.-based company said.
