Orbotech appoints in sales and support

Orbotech has appointed Heinz- G. Nossol as sales manager for automated optical inspection (AOI) solutions for PCB assembly.Mr. Nossol is responsible for the German territory and strategic key accounts. Mr. Nossol has over 30 years electronic-, automotive-, medical –industry and semiconductor-technology as well as aerospace sales experience in product areas that include electronic components, test equipment, and AOI equipment for PCBs and assembled PCBs.Orbotech SA has also appointed Sven Pohl to the position of European Customer Support Manager for automated optical inspection (AOI) solutions for printed circuit board (PCB) assembly. Sven Pohl has many years experience as an AOI application engineer for Orbotech and W. Schuh test systems. As well as assuming responsibility for all European customer service activities, Sven Pohl will remain in his function as customer service team leader for Germany. Mr. Pohl’s appointment reflects the company’s commitment to continue to provide first-class customer service including on-site and remote support via a comprehensive network of dedicated support staff to a growing number of customers.Source: PCBnewsline
