Foxconn to ship LCD TVs to Sony in July, paper says

Foxconn (the trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry) recently sent samples of 32-inch LCD TV to Sony, with shipments to kick off in July, according to today's Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN). The paper said Foxconn has recruited R&D staff from Taiwan-based display specialist Amtran Technology since last year. In the future, Foxconn will focus on LCD TV assembly while Innolux Display, a subsidiary of Foxconn, will concentrate on LCD monitors, the paper noted. full story - http://www.digitimes.com/displays/a20070212VL201.html
