ISB Industrias Sola Basic selects Tecnomatix

Mexico's largest supplier of ballast and voltage regulators bolsters competitive edge with MPM solutionsManufacturing Process Management provider Tecnomatix Technologies Ltd has announced that ISB Industrias Sola Basic SA de CV has purchased multiple licenses of eMPower for Electronics software from Tecnomatix Unicam, Inc. for use in its key manufacturing plants across Mexico. The eMPower solutions hope to enable Sola Basic to increase its market share by bringing products to market more quickly and efficiently, while reducing operating costs. The use of eMPower for Electronics solutions for process planning and production execution is expected to help strengthen Sola Basic's market leadership, especially in light of the Mexican government's recent decision to allow the import of electronics products from China. ISB Industrias Sola Basic initially plans to use eMPower for Electronics solutions in its newest manufacturing plant, the company's 8th plant in Mexico, to design production processes and line layouts for the plant's first assembly line which manufactures outdoor lighting systems.
