Genesis F1000 bare board destacker offers simplicity, reliability, no-vacuum handling

May 22, 2003

FlexLink Systems’ F1000 Bare Board Destacker, part of FlexLink’s revolutionary new Genesis line of PCB handling systems, is a simple, easy-to use, non-vacuum way to introduce bare printed circuit boards into an assembly line. The F1000 is gaining popularity as a simple swap-out replacement for older destackers, due to its modularity, user-friendly software, high capacity, and reliability. The F1000 can hold up to a 300 mm (12") stack of unpopulated PC boards at a weight of 30 kg (66 Ibs). Rather than vacuum, the F1000 separates and manipulates individual boards from its stack via a new and technically advanced releasing mechanism. The unit can achieve cycle times of less than 5 seconds per board.SMEMA compatible and CE compliant with an ESD-safe design, the F1000 incorporates such standard features as a low stack height alarm, PLC control, an indicator beacon, an independent stepper-controlled belt section with "open transfer" technology, and more.FlexLink’s F1000 Bare Board Destacker is part of FlexLink’s Genesis line of PCB handling products, the ‘next generation’ of PCB handling platforms. Flexibility and total integration characterize each module of Genesis; all are built with FlexLink’s new support extrusion profiles. These profiles are extremely rigid, compact, and functional. Genesis Series systems are built to complement FlexLink’s Dynamic Assembly System (DAS), an innovative concept for modular factory platforms, incorporating modular design and total integration.Source: PCBnewsline
