CCL demand weak amid falling copper prices
Feb 26, 2007
Suppliers of copper clad laminates (CCLs) are being hit by falling copper prices, as printed circuit board (PCB) clients are waiting for copper prices to drop further before placing major orders to refill their inventories, which are currently at normal levels, according to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN). CCL suppliers Hwa Woei Laminate, Taiwan Leader Advanced Technology, Uniplus Electronics, and Shine More Technology Materials all saw their January 2007 revenues drop sharply compared to the same month of the previous year, the paper pointed out. source: DigiTimes
