SMC's MRHQ Rotary Gripper combines two functions into one compact unit

SMC Corporation, the world's largest manufacturer of pneumatic automation products, has announced the release of the MRHQ Rotary Air Gripper.  The MRHQ Rotary Air Gripper is in stock and available for immediate shipment from SMC's distribution center in Indianapolis, IN.

The MRHQ Rotary Air Gripper integrates gripping and rotating functions, which saves space and simplifies wiring and piping.  The vane style rotary drive mechanism allows for a very compact cross section enabling access into tight spaces.  The gripper jaws are guided using high precision and high rigidity ball bearing guides. 

The gripper is designed to allow for easy mounting and adjustment of SMC's extensive selection of position sensing switches.  Mounting holes are locating on all sides allowing the rotary gripper to be installed from virtually any angle.  Dowel-pin holes and reference diameters are integrated into the rotary gripper body, improving mounting repeatability.  Rotation angle adjusters are standard.
