Korea makers to roll out lead-free PDP TVs in 2007

Korea-based Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics (LGE) and Daewoo Electronics are planning to launch PDP (plasma display panel) TVs with lead-free panels in 2007 at soonest, according to the Korean-language Electronic Times, Seoul, citing industry sources as saying.
