Foxconn to make Pleo and invest in Ugobe

Foxconn Electronics (the registered trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry) will invest NT$100 million (US$3.1 million) in Ugobe Incorporated, a California-based company that develops and markets robotic technology, and has been contracted by Ugobe to volume produce Pleo, Ugobe's robotic toy dinosaur, according to Foxconn at a press conference held on December 5 at the ongoing 2006 IT Month expo running in Taipei.
