MIMOT to debut MX System at APEX 2007
Dec 11, 2006
MIMOT has burst into the high-volume electronics assembly market with its new high-speed placement system, the MX.
The MX boasts a number of new, innovative features and technology designed to compete with the fastest competitive pick and place machines available. Key features include cascading modularity with placement rates up to 80,000 c/h, 216 feeder slots per segment, and full range component capability. The MX also features double placement areas in each module, with a highly sophisticated Multilevel Transport System for absolute line balancing and the elimination of "local head-downtimes."
In making the announcement, MIMOT CEO Dieter Jenne said, "Positive developments in the market and many requests from our customers drove the development an entirely new machine with high-speed capabilities. The MX represents a major new step forward into the high-volume market. We're ready for it, and confident that the MX will stand out above the crowd. It's not only exceptionally fast and accurate, but still offers the high degree of flexibility that our customers have always appreciated in MIMOT placement systems."
The MIMOT MX will debut at APEX 2007 in Los Angeles, in booth #1159.
