Viscom presents new x-ray inspection system

Viscom has presented its compact, inline-capable X8011 X-ray inspection system. The new system is said to allow large assemblies to be tested. Numerous new features such as axis manipulation, new VMC user interface and comprehensive analysis software are also said to ensure maximum performance and ease of use.The successor for the X8010 series is again a compact X-ray inspection system now also presented in modern Viscom design. Moreover, the X8011 model is now equipped with automatic handling making it inline-compatible.This system is also said to be suitable for retrofitting with the Viscom 3-D software and hardware. The system fulfills the requirements for full protection according to the X-ray code effective as of June 18, 2002 and is available with acceleration voltages of 100 kV, 120 kV, 160 kV and 200 kV.
