LaBarge awarded $5 million contract from Kaman Aerospace

LaBarge, Inc. has been awarded a contract valued at approximately $5 million from Kaman Aerospace Corporation to provide cockpit wiring harnesses for various models of the Black Hawk helicopter. The Company anticipates additional follow-on orders. The LaBarge-built wiring harnesses will be installed in cockpits of the UH-60M and HH-60L Medevac models of the Black Hawk. Production on this contract is expected to begin this month and continue until early 2008. In addition to the cockpit wiring harnesses it builds for Kaman, LaBarge provides wiring harnesses, printed circuit card assemblies and sensor assemblies directly to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation for the Black Hawk program.
