Dover announces completion of divestitures

Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) announced today that its Dover Technologies subsidiary has completed the planned sales of Universal Instruments Corporation, Vitronics Soltec, Hover Davis and Alphasem.

The closing of these transactions represents the culmination of Dover's stated strategy to reduce the impact of the volatility attributable to the capital goods exposure in its technology segment.
