Walsin gains urgent orders after Yageo fire

Passive component maker Walsin Technology is to have received urgent orders recently and is fully booked through October after a recent fire at Yageo's Dashe, Kaohsiung plant, according to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report. A Walsin company spokesperson admitted to receiving urgent orders, though did not attribute the source of the orders, and stressed that the company's utilization rate is full due to seasonal demand. source: DigiTimes
