Taiwanese DSC makers see strong performance this year

Thanks to surging market demand and increased orders from Japanese companies, Taiwanese digital still camera (DSC) makers in general have reported high revenue growth this year. Japanese DSC companies, with about a 90% share of the global market, shipped over seven million DSCs in the first quarter of this year, according to Japan’s Camera and Imaging Products Association (CIPA).Source: DigiTimes
