Notebook PCB demand to remain strong throughout 4Q

Major makers of notebook-use printed circuit boards (PCBs) HannStar Board and Gold Circuit Electronics will see strong demand throughout the fourth quarter as notebook clients increase their orders in anticipation of strong demand that will be sparked by the upcoming launch of Microsoft's Vista, according to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN). Both companies have indicated that their orders will remain strong even in December, which is traditionally a weak month during which revenues may usually drop 20-40%, according to the paper. source: DigiTimes
