Softwires PCP2 up and running at The Eurotech Group

Softwires Limited is pleased to report the successful installation and implementation of its flagship Printed Circuit Professional (PCP2) ERP solution at The Eurotech Group Plc.

Eurotech is the largest Independent UK manufacturer of single sided through to 24-layer multilayer PCBs, with dedicated manufacturing facilities in Exmouth and Sittingbourne supported by 3 associated offshore capabilities Eurotech offers a full prototype to high volume service, the Group also incorporates subsidiary companies supplying high precision metal packages and associated components and welding equipment.

PCP2 went "live" at Eurotech in April 2006, after several detailed demonstrations, one that included an automatic upsizing of existing Eurotech database structures. It was clear to the Eurotech directors that in PCP2 Softwires could provide the preferred state-of-the-art ERP system solution. David Douglas, Eurotech Financial Director said, "PCP2 was clearly the most practical and cost effective solution, this has since proved to be the case as the overall transition has been a real success and about as smooth as I could ever have wished for." he added, "We are already seeing considerable benefits from using PCP2 and although there are more things we need to do, we are very comfortable with the assistance and constant support provided by Softwires. I am particularly impressed with the level of bespoke work Softwires have been willing and able to put into this project".
