Endicott Interconnect Technologies selects FASTechnologies

FASTechnologies has announced that Endicott Interconnect Technologies of Endicott, N.Y., has purchased and installed FASTechnologies' SmartParts Classics & Cassetting automation software.

According to Ofer Ton, president, FASTechnologies, "We are so pleased to be working with EIT because of the advanced technologies EIT is using within their drill operation".   The SmartParts system has been integrated with the X-Ray and we are able to deliver on-the-fly both scaling and skewing information without any operator assistance.  In addition to that SmartParts Cassetting is able to produce all cassette information for drill bit automation and inventory control.

SmartParts Classics software offers the flexibility of running real-time automation and will streamline the preparation of drill files using common front-end CAM software. SmartParts reads your standard, archived CNC program, modifies it for the requesting machine, and delivers it to the drill machines using FASTechnologies' UltraServer DNC system.
