Eric Miscoll joins TXP as VP focusing on strategy & operations

Aug 04, 2006

TXP Corporation ("TXP") (OTCBB: TXPO), a global provider of pre-manufacturing services for the electronics industry, today announced that Eric Miscoll has joined the company in the newly created position of vice president. Mr. Miscoll's scope of responsibilities will include corporate strategy, operational structure and management, business development, and marketing.

Mr. Miscoll, age forty-four, has over eight years of industry experience. Most recently, he served as chief operating officer of Technology Forecasters, Inc. (TFI), the leading strategic consulting firm to the outsourced electronics manufacturing industry. While at TFI, Mr. Miscoll was responsible for overall business operations, all client deliverables, and management of the Quarterly Forum for Outsourced Electronics Manufacturing and Supply Chain industry program. He was also responsible for reducing company-wide expenses by over 50 percent within twelve months and returning the company to profitability. Prior to joining TFI in 1998, Mr. Miscoll's work experience included organizational development within NASA's Engineering Teams and the United States Department of Justice. He began his career as an operations manager at Bank of America. Mr. Miscoll has a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology.

Michael C. Shores, president and chief executive officer of TXP, commented, "Eric brings extensive experience within the electronics manufacturing industry, and has demonstrated tremendous ingenuity, by identifying new opportunities to improve operational efficiency. These skills will be invaluable as we continually find new ways to improve our clients' time-to-market and reduce their total production costs. We also look forward to benefiting from Eric's strong industry and media relationships as TXP Corporation rapidly gains wide-spread recognition within the electronics industry and leading trade publications."

Eric Miscoll stated, "After studying and reporting on the EMS industry for the past 8 years, it became clear that the relationship between OEMs and their EMS partners had become inefficient, requiring a new process for OEMs to bring their product to market faster and at high quality. TXP's Pre-Manufacturing Services model is a new paradigm for the industry, which allows OEMs to launch their product with confidence to any manufacturing site globally. Having watched the dramatic progress TXP Corporation has made over the past few years, I look forward to now being part of this exceptional team, and leveraging the strong industry relationships I have built."
