Aug 10, 2006
Taiwan-based Tripod Technology, which supplies printed circuit boards (PCBs) for Apple Computers' iPod Nano, will continue to be a PCB supplier for new iPod versions that Apple is expected to launch in the fourth quarter, according to the Chinese-language Commercial Times. Tripod is among at least four Taiwan-based PCB makers who have supplied PCBs for iPods, since Apple launched the MP3 players, and high-season iPod-PCB orders from Apple amount to 2-3 million units a month, the paper added. source: DigiTimes
