QPI joins the STELLA Project
Aug 24, 2006
The QPI Group, supplier of advanced printed circuit board solutions has become a partner in the STELLA project, a European Community initiative. Within the STELLA project, the QPI Group will concentrate on the development of the manufacturing processes for stretchable printed circuit boards and on the definition of the manufacturing and production processes, as well as the evaluation of the assembling possibilities of stretchable substrates. "STELLA is an excellent opportunity for the QPI Group to further extend its know-how in the field of printed circuit board and connection technology. QPI already has an extensive knowledge of flexible PCB's. This know-how will be further expanded with knowledge of stretchable PCB solutions", according to Ir. Arjan Warnaar, managing director of the QPI Group. "The participation of the QPI Group in the STELLA project is a great asset for the project. With QPI a very competent partner joins the project with extensive know-how in the field of printed circuit board technology", according to Dr. Christopher Klatt, who works for the Freudenberg Forschungsdienste KG, Weinheim, Germany and is the coordinator of STELLA.
