Hunter Technology introduces its 'complete solution'
Jul 26, 2006
Hunter Technology of Santa Clara, California has announced it's "Complete Solution". The Complete Solution means that DFx is not a theory which is hopefully beneficial to the next stop in the supply chain, but rather of true benefit to product manufacturability, reliability, testability and cost. With the Complete Solution there is no need to risk Government Contracts by violating ITAR compliance, Mil-Spec and Domestic production requirements. Simply placing a PO Domestically does not ensure ITAR or Mil-Spec Compliance. OEM's are placing Mil-Spec orders with Domestic EMS Providers who are then procuring the Printed Circuit Board from China. In other cases PCB's are ordered from Domestic Suppliers who are sub-contracting with foreign partners for off-shore production. "Our customers can now make one decision; one purchasing event and they are done. All they have to do is wait for their completed product, we take care of the rest," said Joe O'Neil, President of Hunter Technology. "Think about that, normally acquiring a product from concept to reality will take a number of purchasing events. In fact if your count approvals it can easily add up to over a hundred purchasing events costing OEM thousands of dollars." Because all three disciplines are under one roof, Hunter's Complete Solution is completely efficient and synergistic; while the circuit board is being designed they can be preparing for fabrication as well as ordering the parts to complete the kit. Work proceeds concurrently instead of consecutively. Joe O'Neil continues by saying that, "I feel that Complete Solution gives our customers a distinct advantage over their competitors when it comes to cost savings and time to market. We can take care of everything for them making the purchasing process virtually worry free." For more information, visit www.hunterpcb.com
