Melbourne location opened as part of company's ongoing Asia Pacific expansion plans

Nu Horizons Electronics Corp. (NASDAQ:NUHC) announced the opening of their first office in Australia, located in Melbourne, Victoria. This location provides local sales and engineering support within Australia and was established as part of the company's ongoing Asia Pacific expansion plans.

Nu Horizons presently has 17 Asia Pacific sales locations: Greater China (Beijing, Chengdu, Hong Kong, Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Wuhan and Taipei), India (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and New Delhi), Thailand (Bangkok), Malaysia (Penang), Singapore, South Korea (Seoul) and Australia (Melbourne). To support these locations and growing customer demand, a new state-of-the-art distribution center opened last year in Singapore, providing various service and fulfillment requirements.
