Jun 14, 2006
Service will result in further environmental protection through recycling BCD Electro has recently signed a contract to provide services in the EOL products field for Ericsson. BCD will re-market some generic material while protecting proprietary Ericsson equipment through a destructive recycling process. This involves dismantling and removal of brand markings before materials are separated and sent to smelting operations. Semiconductors are also selectively removed from circuit boards for re-marketing. Their on-going relationship with Ericsson and adherence to industry standard best practices are the main factors that led to the new contract. By outsourcing to BCD Electro, Ericsson will be able to stay focused on their core competency business of producing telephone infrastructure. "We are excited to continue the relationship with this world class company and also looking forward to some bottom line growth in the process," states Bob Harris, President of BCD Electro. BCD Electro has 27 years experience in their field and has built a reputation of honesty and integrity through passion and continual improvement in re-marketing and recycling. They have consistently provided a dependable product through marketing skills and their recent ISO 9001: 2000 and 14001:2004 registrations. www.bcdelectro.com
