Sony says seeks another firm to supply LCD panels

Japan's Sony Corp. said it is seeking a new supplier of LCD panels for TV screens to make up for a possible shortage, the Reuters reported yesterday. Sony said panel supplies from S-LCD, its joint venture with Samsung Electronics, would not be enough to meet its plan to sell 6 million LCD televisions this business year to March.
