Foxconn may establish production line in Argentina

Foxconn Electronics (the registered trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry) is evaluating the possibility of establishing a manufacturing site in Argentina in order to work more closely with its customers in Central and Lain America, according to the Chinese-language Apple Daily. In addition, Foxconn's wholly-owned handset subsidiary Foxconn International Holdings (FIH) is considering setting up a R&D center in Japan in order to take advantage of the R&D capabilities there, indicated the paper.
