Electronic Systems and AbleNet sign multi-year partnership agreement

May 01, 2006

Electronic Systems, Inc. and Ablenet have announced the signing of a multiyear agreement for Electronic Systems to supply substantially all of AbleNet's hardware products.

According to Dave Binczik, Vice President of Operations, "AbleNet will be achieving a strategic goal of consolidating it's manufacturing into a partner that has a demonstrated track record of high quality, robust supply chain management, and engineering/production support."  Harvey Levitt, AbleNet's Supply Chain manager commented that, "Our focus in the past has been supporting our vendors in supply chain management, production procedures, quality control, working cost reductions, updating products to resolve compliance or production issues and preparing intensive quote packages.  With this full partnership model, AbleNet can focus more on new product design and order fulfillment"

"As an EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) provider we rely on our customer's ability to market their products and grow their business.  AbleNet has become a global leader in assistive technologies for people with disabilities because of their dedication to the concept of helping people and innovative product and program design that make a difference in people's lives." said Leo Reynolds, Vice Chairman.

"Our strength at Electronic Systems is the ability to execute; from supply chain management through order fulfillment, so when we engage with an industry leader like AbleNet, business opportunities abound for both companies", said Gary Larson, President.
