Arrow Electronics and Ayrshire Electronics, LLC sign supply chain management agreement

Arrow to assist Ayrshire with purchasing and logistics The North American Components (NAC) business of Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW - News) and Ayrshire Electronics, LLC announced today that they entered into a supply chain materials management agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, Arrow will manage specific aspects of Ayrshire's purchasing and logistics operations. Ayrshire Electronics is a Fayetteville, Ark.-based provider of contract manufacturing, design, quick-turn, prototyping and high-reliability services for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Arrow will be responsible for the management of certain purchasing functions and internal logistics management within Ayrshire. "This strategic partnership will enable Ayrshire to leverage Arrow's extensive experience in supply chain services so Ayrshire can focus on its core competencies of providing high-quality products and superior customer service at very competitive prices," said Jim Rosenberg, president, Arrow Alliance. "As Ayrshire's premier supplier, Arrow has already earned our trust as we broaden this relationship and enter into a strategic supply chain agreement.
