KLA-Tencor receives SEC notice of probe

Semiconductor manufacturing equipment maker KLA-Tencor Corp. said Tuesday it has received notice from the Securities and Exchange Commission of an informal probe related to past stock option grants. In a filing with the SEC, the company said it will fully cooperate with the investigation.
