Taiwan notebook brands see gains in China

Acer and Asustek Computer each enjoyed sequential share growth in the China notebook market during the first quarter of 2006 the Chinese-language Apple Daily cited Gartner Dataquest as reporting. In contrast, the top-three notebook brand companies, Lenovo, Dell and Hewlett-Packard (HP), all experienced on-quarter market share drops in the first quarter, according to the paper.
