Solectron announces resignation of EVP of Operation

Solectron Corporation announced the resignation of executive vice president of worldwide operations Marc Onetto, who is leaving Solectron to pursue other interests. Mike Cannon, president and CEO of Solectron, will be assuming Onetto's role on an interim basis while a search is conducted for a replacement. "Marc has led the transformation of Solectron's manufacturing operations with the implementation of lean manufacturing," commented Cannon. "We will continue to aggressively implement lean across the company, and thank Marc for his many contributions."
