Agile customers highlight integral role of PLM at AGILITY Las Vegas

Agile Software Corporation has announced that its annual PLM conference, AGILITY Las Vegas, held earlier this month had record-breaking attendance of well over 1,000 executives and managers from its Global 2000 customer base representing 39 countries around the world, and sponsorship from such industry-leading technology providers and solutions experts as Deloitte and IBM. The four-day event addressed the essential business strategies, market factors and PLM best practices that impact the success of both small and large manufacturing companies. Tom Kelley, best-selling author and general manager of IDEO, and Geoffrey Moore best-selling author and founder of the Chasm Group, provided the keynote, examining the current innovation climate and how companies can best position themselves to achieve success. Leading industry analyst firms participated in AGILITY Las Vegas in a combination of keynotes, panels and special practice sessions, including: Jim Brown, Aberdeen Group; Bruce Richardson, Michael Burkett and Kevin Reale, AMR Research; Peter Bilello, CIMData; and Marc Halpern, Gartner. Together they helped customers better understand and meet the challenges inherent to an increasingly complex and global economy.
