Juki Automation Systems to showcase FX-1R at NEPCON East 2006
Apr 25, 2006
Juki Automation Systems, a world-leading provider of automated assembly products and systems, announces that it will highlight the FX-1R High-speed Chip Shooter in booth 4009 at the upcoming NEPCON East 2006 trade show and exhibition, scheduled to take place May 10 to 11, 2006, in Boston. Focusing on high throughput and precise component centering, the FX-1R is equipped with a double head system driven by two independent linear motors that create both high-speed and precise positional accuracy. Both quadruple heads have a multi-nozzle alignment system using a high-resolution laser developed exclusively for Juki's assembly systems. This unique technology simultaneously measures four different components in width, length and height. Additionally, in-flight measurement eliminates idle time. The chip shooter features a placement rate of 27,000 cph (IPC 9850), and a component range from 0201 (inch) to 11 x 26.5 mm to 20 x 20 mm. Additionally, the system consistently has a placement accuracy of +/-40µm (3 Sigma). Further, the FX-1R offers numerous key features, including high rigidity and low vibration, a double head system driven by linear motors, ease of operation, as well as being time saving and flexible.
