Mar 09, 2006
Aqueous Technologies Corporation has announced that it is showcasing Model SMT1000-LD Aqueous Cleaning/Defluxing System with Focus Wash in its Florida representative Kurt Whitlock Associates' booth, which is located at 413-415 at the Southcon exhibition and conference, taking place March 7 to 9, 2006, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. SMT1000-LD is a powerful defluxing system designed for both SMT and through-hole defluxing applications, including lead-free flux removal. The system provides a target impact pressure of 15.4 oz./sq. in., and enhanced SPC data recording, programmable maintenance reminding software and an automatic chemical management system. Additionally, it provides automatic cleaning, cleanliness testing and drying, all within the fastest cycle time of any batch-format aqueous cleaning system available. The cleaning/defluxing system uses a combination of convection and radiant heat technology for fast, thorough drying. The defluxing system is equipped with Focus-Wash, a unique technology that provides unprecedented board coverage and under-component impingement. Powerful multi-staged stainless steel spray pumps direct wash solution to all areas of the boards, providing exceptional cleanliness levels in very short cycle times.
