Foxconn remains top Taiwan IT company in February revenues - BenQ leads February growth

Foxconn Electronics (the registered trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry) generated revenues of NT$50.58 billion in February, up 27.8% on year but down 24.7% sequentially on seasonality. The EMS provider continues to lead Taiwan's other major IT manufacturers. BenQ's consolidated sales were boosted by its acquisition of Siemens AG's handset division, with revenues growing 84% on year, the highest growth of the top five IT companies. BenQ posted accumulated consolidated sales of NT$37.2 billion for the first two months of this year, up 81% on 2005. source: DigiTimes
