Westwind Air Bearings has announced that a range of its latest spindle technologies will be exhibited at the CPCA Show 2006, held from 22nd – 24th March 2006, at the INTEX Shanghai, People's Republic of China. Exhibiting in Booth #7H09, Hall 1F, Westwind will be displaying a range of air bearing spindles, including the 'Storm' 200,000 rpm PCB drilling spindle - setting a new industry standard, the Storm is Westwind's fastest full range spindle ever. Westwind will also be displaying a collection of high-speed air bearing spindles including the D1733 250,000 rpm spindle, a dedicated small hole drilling spindle specifically designed for IC substrate and microvia mechanical drilling, and the resilient 'Tornado' 160,000 rpm spindle, fitted with Westwind's proven high reliability Automatic Tool Change (ATC) system for productivity as good as new after testing to half a million tool changes.
