BTU completes acquisition of product lines and related assets of Radiant Technology Corporation

BTU International, Inc. (Nasdaq NM: BTUI) announced that it has completed the acquisition of the product lines, trademarks and other related assets of Radiant Technology Corporation (OTC: RTNC). Radiant Technology Corporation (RTC) is a leading supplier of near-infrared furnaces, ovens and dryers for the solar energy, microelectronics, and assembly technology industries.
 
"This acquisition, which was previously announced on February 7, 2006, strengthens our competitive position in the global marketplace for our energy generation business. The RTC technology and product lines will enable us to offer a wider product range, especially for our customers in the photovoltaic segment of this market," said Paul van der Wansem, chairman and CEO of BTU International.
