Asustek, BenQ and Acer enjoy strong notebook shipments in China during 4Q05

Notebook shipments from Asustek in the China market totaled more than 50,000 units during the fourth quarter of last year, according to the Chinese-language Commercial Times. The company aims to have steady growth this year and expects to ship more than 70,000 units in the China market during the first quarter. BenQ's ranking in China notebook sales rose to ninth place in the fourth quarter with a sales volume of more than 30,000 units, the paper said, citing industry sources.
