A.C.E. Production Technologies to exhibit new line of selective soldering systems
Mar 22, 2006
A.C.E. Production Technologies will exhibit its new KISS line of simple, affordable selective soldering systems suitable for lead-free solders at NEPCON East 2006, in booth #6028. In addition, A.C. E. will introduce its new Dual Head Fluxer option that facilitates quick changeover of flux types. The Dual Head Fluxer is especially designed to meet the needs of selective soldering applications that demand quick change over from leaded to no-lead solders, a common concern among electronics assemblers transitioning to lead-free. Rugged, reliable, and compact, the line consists of the basic KISS 101 system and programmable KISS 102. Both of these flexible systems feature lead-free compatible solder pots and are ideal for assembly, prototyping, and rework, post-reflow offline assembly and other selective soldering applications such as odd-form devices. A variety of standard and custom nozzles are available for both machines. Both systems are bench-top models with optional carriages for stand-alone use. The KISS 101 is simple to set up and use, features analog controls, and provides the kind of flexibility needed in a quick-turn rework or light assembly facility. Both the 101 and 102 models can accommodate PCB's from 2" x 2" up to 18" x 24", and connectors up to 10" long. The programmable KISS 102 is a fully automated machine that is designed to fill the gap between hand soldering and more expensive automated in-line robotic selective soldering.
