Indium Corporation announces Silver Quill Award winner

Indium Corporation recently awarded its annual Silver Quill Award for best paper/presentation of 2005 to Jim Hisert, Technical Support Engineer, based at Indium Corporation’s global headquarters in Clinton, NY, USA. The Silver Quill award was developed to encourage and incentivize individuals for authoring technical reports, presentations, articles, and books. Authors are awarded points throughout the year based on the quantity and quality of their written material, presentations, and the importance of the venue (regional vs. international). Jim’s presentation, entitled "Thermal Interface Materials", was delivered at the 2005 Indium Corporation Technical Summit. This presentation, which consists of new material and graphics, helped facilitate the introduction and training of Indium Corporation’s new product line, Thermal Interface Materials. Jim is a graduate of Mohawk Valley Community College and the State University of New York Institute of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and lives in Vernon, NY. Additional awards were presented to Eric Bastow, Ed Briggs, Ivan Castellanos, Mike Fenner, Tim Jensen, Karl Pfluke, Sehar Samiappan, David Sbiroli, Mario Scalzo, Paul Socha and Karthik Vijayamadhavan.
